"There will be days you don't think you can run a marathon. There will be a lifetime of knowing you have."
- Unknown
This morning, I watched the LA Marathon and felt very proud to see members of Team in Training among the thousands running this event. There is something very special about knowing you've completed a marathon. Sure, it's one more thing to cross off your list, but more importantly, it's realizing that you can do something that you previously thought was impossible.
Team Long Beach has finally reached the exciting point in training where we conquer double digits. Last season, I was so excited to reach this milestone and this time around is no different. We still have a long way to go - more miles to run, more challenges to face, more adventures to experience - but with proper training and a positive attitude, we'll get to the finish line and will have raised a lot of money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
In three months, I hope to be one of the lucky few who can say they've completed a marathon.

San Diego Rock 'N' Roll Relay
Team in Training just announced a new way to participate in the San Diego Rock 'N' Roll marathon...RELAY!
Enjoy the 45 high-energy bands, 2,000 cheering supporters, 19 themed support stations along the way, all the fun in the sun without the distance! The four-person relay starts at Balboa Park and ends at Sea World (just like the full- and half-marathons).
How It Works:
The Relay features 4 person teams who work together to complete the full marathon distance. This is an event suitable for runners or walkers of any level that captures the excitement of one of our signature marathon courses.
